Okay. So I think people think I'm only a big hater. And I am, but I like plenty! I swear!
More on things I like after the cut.
I LOVE the Battle Hymn of the Republic. I think it's a spectacular song. Even though it has a kind of terrifying message, I sing it and think of it all the time, and even put it in my award-winning final film for film school:
I really liked the show "Miracles," which starred Skeet Ulrich. I really like my friends who often talk about their relationship with God, and who like to discuss it with me and rant with me about the state of religion in the USA.
Also, here are some churches I don't mind:

Oh! and if you think I think Atheists are supertots awesome, here's this!

I mean, it's an interesting essay, and it's final words tickled the pacifist in me. Which is to say all of me. Violence is stupid. Though, I feel I should point out, Hitler, at least, was a devout Christian. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adolf_Hitler's_religious_views
http://www.gaychristian101.com/ This website was interesting until it told me I was personally brought to it through God's will.
http://www.soulforce.org/article/homosexuality-bible-gay-christian I'd love it if more people dissected their beliefs the way this person dissects homosexuality in the Bible. Granted, who cares if I would love it or not.
Boy Scouts of America sucks though: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boy_Scouts_of_America_membership_controversies#Position_on_atheists_and_agnostics
Also: http://www.positiveatheism.org/mail/eml8859.htm That made me chuckle.
Here's a few links to where I stand on m criticism of religion (in the organized sense, not of the religious, though I really do understand that there can be a bit of a mix up with that--I fully support people's ability to, right to have, and need for faith, be it the Abrahamic God or any other one. That's not in question. What I am criticizing is the Bible, which is irrelevant to the modern world (imo, and though I haven't finished it yet, I AM in the process of reading it. So far the biggest thing I remember is that if I touch a dead body I have to wait three days, wash with water, then on the seventh day I wash again and I am clean. lolwut. Seriously, read Numbers. It's hilarious.)

That's one atheist I would have hated, right there. (And there are plenty atheists I can't stand.) For the record, I am a Weak Atheist, or a Soft Atheist, or a Negative Atheist. Meaning I hear the phrase "at least one god exists" and don't believe it is true or false--rather, I believe there is no god, or gods. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weak_and_strong_atheism
As is, there could be God. Or gods. I don't really care. I believe in none. I also don't like the concept of organized atheists. It seems beside the point, in some ways. To organize around a common lack of belief. I guess I'm just all for anarchy (that I control).
I would never stand in the way of anyone choosing to believe what they want, whether it be that being Gay is a sin, that birth control is bad, or that Christianity is awesome. Of course, I will criticize. Frequently. And make the claim that I hate it. Keep in mind, those who don't know me, I also hate horses, dogs, Romantic Comedies, Christopher Nolan, snow, and most people. And honestly, out of everything I hate, I hate horses the most. Hear that, Christianity? At least you beat out equines. And Equine Science majors.
